"Capitalism" has become a dirty word, an epithet that generates more heat than light.
Are we talking about neo-conservative free market mega-capitalists, or some old boy who decides to put his redundancy money into his own carpentry business? Both are using capital sums in ventures, but there the similarity ends.
"Capitalism" needs defining every time it is used. Better still, don't use it.
Green economics requires a guided market in a mixed economy.
"Guided" means that the market is regulated by taxes and tax breaks to inhibit eco-destructive activities and promote eco-constructive activities.
"Eco-" refers to the system in which we exist, which includes both society and natural environment.
"Mixed economy" means that both private and social enterprises coexist.
